The Ranks of the Soviet Empire are important in running the clan and keeping things in order. Soviet_Knight has put together the list of ranks in the soviet empire as follows below:
Grand Marshal of the Soviet Union (Supreme Soviet): Administers the entire clan and makes any important decisions relating to foreign relations, change in the command structure, disagreements or any other issues that he deems necessary to involve himself in. The Supreme Soviet will try as best he can to leave control of divisions and realms with their commanders for the most part, but reserves the right to interfere when necessary.
General Chief of Staff (Co-Supreme Soviet) Same as Supreme Soviet- Administers the entire clan and makes any important decisions relating to foreign relations, change in the command structure, disagreements or any other issues that he deems necessary to involve himself in. The Supreme Soviet will try as best he can to leave control of divisions and realms with their commanders for the most part, but reserves the right to interfere when necessary.
---
Kommissar (Premier): Administers one of the 3 realms on which Soviet is currently present (East, West, or Europe), and manages the day to day function of that realm. This Kommissar can also be Marshall of a division in certain cases, and has authority over all the divisions in his realm. Despite his power, the Kommissar should normally stay out of division affairs unless he feels intervention necessary and focus on recruiting, playing, and advancing the welfare of his realm as well as settling disputes between divisions.
Deputy (Co-Premier): Same as Kommissar, the Deputy helps adminstrate one of the 3 realms (East, West or Europe). Deputy's can make decisions such as transfers, recruition, promotion and solve issues within the realm. But for major decisions, the deputy consults the kommissar first.
---
Kommander: Leader of a division, usually the Marshall.
Marshall: Administers one of the divisions in a realm. At this time there will be a maximum of 4 divisions in each Realm and so 4 Marshall's to administer them. The Marshall is responsible for most promotions/demotions, and has full abilities to recruit and make changes within his division. The Marshall does not have authority over any other divisions and must ask the Premier if any issues arrive with other divisions' members.
General: The General is the second highest post in a division and a high-officer grade rank. The General assists the Marshall of a division in running it and generally has full powers to recruit. The General may also promote and demote members below the rank of Lt. Colonel as long as the Marshall permits him to.
---
Colonel: Colonel is a high-officer grade rank and is generally given to a person on the rise to a General or Marshall ship and possessing many of the qualities required for one. The Colonel should be good at diplomacy, active in the clan, and may recruit at the Marshall's preference.
Lt. Colonel: The lowest high-officer grade rank is Lt. Colonel. Lt. Colonels should be trusted members that have been with the clan for a comparatively long time and have some potential for advancement as well as a great deal of Diplomacy skill. Lt. Colonels are also now able to recruit at a Marshall's preference.
Major: The major is usually an officer that has distinguished himself within the clan on several occasions, is active and is good at diplomacy, but may have not been experienced enough for a higher rank.
Captain: Captains should be reasonably good at playing and be very active, as well as assisting their officers in times of need.
Lieutenant: This is the initial officer rank and is given to those enlisted men who have a great sense of duty and show enough potential in the evolution of their skill to warrant watching for higher ranks in the future.
Praporschik: The Praporscick is a Warrant Officer in the Soviet Army, and has the responsibility for keeping all the enlisted men in order and resolving disputes between them as well as is possible.
---
Master Sergeant: The Master Sergeant is a very high NCO-rank, who is improving in diplomacy skill, and shows a great deal of loyalty toward the clan. This is the last rank before the member joins the officers.
Staff Sergeant: The staff Sergeant is a high NCO-rank for someone who has been in the clan for several weeks and has been active or showed development in his diplomacy abilities.
Sergeant: Sergeants will be promoted based on their skill and longevity in the clan, and are one of the first ranks on the way to promotion from your initial private classification
Private First Class: A new member of the clan that has slightly advanced skill in diplomacy or who impressed the Marshall/General in tryouts
Private: The first rank of the Soviet Clan, all members should initially start as Privates and PFCs. To advance in the ranks simply staying around, being active, chilling in the channel, and attempting to improve your diplomacy skill should be enough.
